I love Pilates. I love helping people feel better about themselves, to move better, to feel more confident in their bodies and to leave my class with a smile and a skip in their step. It is important to like yourself, to love who you are and to have self-belief and confidence. Pilates has been a big part in helping me move towards all of this.
I discovered the power of Pilates after three pregnancies and many years of obsessive and competitive exercise, pushing myself to the absolute limit and trying to create a body that was not my own. I was overwhelmed by the transformation Pilates sparked, the strength I gained and the changes to my body and overall wellbeing. The joy and power of the Pilates I teach has helped me to overcome so many different aspects, both physical and mental, of my life. It is this revelation that ignited my passion to share the benefits of Pilates with others who may have lost a love for exercise and themselves due to the pressures of life.
Taking back control of your body takes confidence and discipline and we often stop at the first hurdle. I want to remove these obstacles and make Pilates fun and accessible for everyone. Whether this is for rehabilitation after injury or to increase flexibility and freedom of movement, to help you through a difficult period of your life or to simply allow yourself an hour focused purely on you. Pilates is the answer.
By focusing as much on the mental health benefits as the physical gain I am excited to help you reach your own personal goal.
I look forward to meeting you.
